The concept of MEM Yoga is to understand how the traces of emotions become lodged in the body, and the creation of a flow to take a closer look. There is a seated segment, a sound segment, flow, and ultimately: ease. Sound baths conclude every class, an element of the release of whatever needs moving through. This is not a silent yoga class. We utilize the six healing sounds from the Taoist tradition which relate to the meridians and the organs, bringing in the vowel sounds to the chakras and connecting to archetypes of emotion. Through breath, sound, and movement, we arrive at a more embodied state. MEM Yoga is the culmination of nearly 30 years of practice, and includes a canon of logic that draws from subtle breath, sound, and movement that create a flow of movement with a focused intention. It's also an opportunity to connect with the seasonal fluctuations and the ever-changing, ever-evolving, and ever-flowing predictably unpredictable cycles of nature. Classes are adaptable for all levels and most portions are accessible for those with special physical needs or restrictions.

I know your pain, because I've lived it.
My body has been my laboratory, plus endless hours of learning functional anatomy & Yoga... I am still learning!
From a very early age I was fascinated by the functioning of our body… and Sport. I skied, played volley ball, basket ball, windsurfing, swimming and later played rugby for 9 years. Needless to say I suffered many injuries, broken bones, torn ligaments, dislocated joints…. I know, it sounds horrific. Well, to me it was just the side effects of something I loved… extreme sports.
Eventually I had to give it all up. My body spoke its mind, and I listened. Yet, I am grateful for all those injuries. It is because of them that I can truly empathise with the clients who come for therapeutic Yoga classes to overcome pain or mobility issues.
It was through my yoga practice, that I found complete relief from sciatic pain, healed my meniscus and managed a frozen shoulder just to name a few!!

Personalised to YOUR body: No two bodies are the same. We will work with your unique goals and needs rather than a generic routine.
Therapeutic focus: This isn't a regular yoga class. Every movement is chosen specifically to address your restrictions and ability, restore mobility, and prevent future flare-ups.
Proven approach: I healed my own sciatica through yoga and got back to caring for my children, working, and enjoying life without limitations. And I have spent two decades helping others do the same.
Practical tools: You'll leave each session with a personalized practice you can do at home to continue your healing between sessions.
Flexible format: You can choose between fully Online or In-person sessions (at our Tone of Life Studio in Jubrique, Spain)
